The Valley Park Radio team works hard all year round & its lovely to be appreciated on a national level, I was so pleased for all three of them, they really deserve the awards”
The awards were hosted by Jon Godell, & from ITV’s This Morning programme Dr Chris Steel. The Prime Minster Gordon Brown recorded a personal message for the awards, as did Sir Terry Wogan who is the patron of the HBA.
Over 275 people attended the awards @ the Hilton Hotel in Blackpool.
Valley Park Radio is always looking for dedicated people willing to give up some of their spare time to help with our request collection and fundraising teams and many people often go on to become presenters themselves.
